Getting access to counselling support at the moment is tough. So when Helen approached us about volunteering with TLC as a counsellor we were obviously  thrilled. The Pandemic has made us think about how we can deliver things differently, by working remotely engaging with a counsellor has become much easier. We don’t need a private room and Helen doesn’t need to give up half her day to see one person.

Helen has gifted us over 100 hours in less than 12 months. We work with people facing multiple barriers to employment and Helen has helped them this year with increasing levels of anxiety and of course bereavement.

She’s been professional, throughout and organised throughout. Adhering to confidentiality guidelines while working with the team to ensure each individual received the correct support.
